Mark Foreman, 53, was arrested Tuesday after he forced the mother of his ex-girlfriend onto a mattress connected to a fold-out couch and then folded the mattress into the sofa with her inside, authorities said.
Foreman had entered the victim's residence to use her bathroom.
The police report for the incident did not indicate how long she was trapped inside the couch but said the woman suffered injuries to her wrist and back.
