ESPN graphic roethlisberger

t's a well documented fact that the pre-married 'Big' Ben Roethlisberger was something of a party animal.
I mean, it was nothing to hear stories of the guy being out to the wee hours of the morning with his entourage, drinking and possibly doing things of questionable legality. Suffice to say that the Pittsburgh Steelers franchise quarterback was a guy who liked to live off the field as well as on it.
The Roethlisberger of today, however, has pulled a complete 180. He's a happily married man who has got his crap together and has for all intents and purposes, grown up. Heck, 'Big' Ben even has a 'little' Ben on
the way, though that could be little Barbara depending on the sex of the baby.
No matter how one changes though, there are still going to be jokes and comments made about how you were before, and apparently Roethlisberger is no different than anyone else when it comes to being on the receiving end of these comments.
On ESPN's Monday Countdown this past Monday night, they did a segment on Roethlisberger titled Roethlisberger: Dink and Dunk. However, before the segment was to run, it was being previewed on the rundown, which is a graphic on the left side of the screen that lets the viewer know what is coming up on the show.
Sounds pretty straight forward, right? Well, it should have been. But for some reason, the person responsible for the graphic made a couple of changes to the title and it read Roethlisberger: Drink and Drunk instead.
The station later issued this apology for the error.
"We have to tell you this for sure, earlier in the show we had a graphic error in the rundown," Chris Berman, host of Monday Night Countdown, said. "We apologize for the mistake. Not sure how it happened. It won't happen again, we'll be back."
So, was this a case of a simple couple of typos or was the person responsible purposely trying to make a joke? We may never know the answer to this one but my money is on the person responsible being a Chiefs or a possible Ravens fan and intentionally getting a dig in on 'Big' Ben.
