Tom Martinez Heart Attack Dialysis----Tom Martinez, one of the most successful coaches in California community college coach history, died of heart attack during dialysis. Martinez lived in California, and he was in need of a kidney transplant after complications from diabetes.

He died today on his 66th birthday.Martinez taught Tom Brady the proper throwing mechanics when the Patriots quarterback was a youngster.

They stayed in constant communication with one another as Martinez became Brady’s one coach that didn’t wear the Patriots logo across his chest.Brady used his Super Bowl platform to renew talk about
the importance of organ donations on behalf of Martinez.

Martinez’ magic touch then fixed Brady to the tune of a 517-yard throwing performance in Miami, followed by 423 against the Chargers. It also translated into seven touchdown passes the first two games.

Brady had been unhappy with how he was throwing the football through training camp, and made all the arrangements for Martinez and his wife to fly here from the west coast.

Martinez will forever be remembered for his success at California community college San Mateo as a football, women’s basketball and softball coach.
